| Where
did they originate from? Pygmy goats are originally from Africa,
they came to Britain many years ago. There are now many
owners in Britain but there are fewer owners in Northern
Ireland. These goats are smaller than other breeds of goats,
they are a small compact goat, they have a rounded body,
but everything is in proportion. Females measure 16-21 inches
fully grown, males can be slightly bigger ranging from 16-22
inches. Pygmy goats are not difficult
to keep; they are clean and have different characters which
you will discover after you have kept them. Pygmies are
quite clever and need a companion in order for them not
to get bored; they do like to play together.
